A Peugeot 308 1.6 HDi has covered 1,689 km across South Africa on only one tank of diesel, achieving a fuel consumption of 3.4 litres/100km. The car completed the Coast2Coast challenge after a three-day drive. Peugeot devised the Coast2Coast Challenge to showcase the fuel efficiency of this medium hatchback and to highlight its greenness. The fuel in the tank was Total's Ecodiesel Premium Plus.
