70th anniversary Jeeps
|
To celebrate its 70 years of existence, Jeep, originally developed for use by American troops in the second world war, and whose name derives from ‘General Purpose’ or ‘GP’, is introducing a special luxury version onto the European market. Special commemoration packs will be available from the beginning of this year on the Wrangler, Wrangler Unlimited and Compass models. This ‘70th Anniversary Edition’ of the two Wrangler models will include features such as a special badge, aluminium running boards, specific 18 inch aluminium wheels, and seats in dark olive or dark grey slate colour. Chestnut features will be included in the side and central armrests, and the steering wheel will also have chestnut elements. Bright chrome will be used on the gearknob and on heating and air conditioning equipment. The Compass model will have similar features.
