Avis and Arval have joined forces in offering their used vehicles for sale on Arval’s internet sales platform, MotorTrade. The combined used fleets of the two companies are expected to bring some 180,000 vehicles to the market each year. MotorTrade is operational in France, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Russia, Italy, Turkey and the UK and is to be rolled out onto ten other markets within 7 days 24 hours, either at the posted price or via a bidding process. Buyers have direct access to the supplier without paying for an intermediary. Avis cars a re from 9 to 24 months old, with Arval vehicles going on to a maximum of 60 months. Vehicles are independently inspected before being put up for sale, and descriptions and photos are published on the site.
