Arval has announced that two years after the launch of its MotorTrade e-platform, 100,000 vehicles have now been sold through this channel. Having first been launched in Spain, MotorTrade – which presents end of contract cars directly to used car dealers – expanded to many other countries in Europe, and is set to be further rolled out, the next wave of countries to include Brazil, India and Russia amongst others. The e-platform is on-line permanently, and offers the choice of an immediate sale at a fixed price, or on-line bidding. All types of passenger cars and LUV’s are on offer, and around 7,000 vehicles are sold each month. Vehicles are independently inspected and full descriptions are posted on the site.
