Arval, expert in full service leasing of corporate vehicles, has announced the opening of a new subsidiary in Denmark, at Herlev in the Copenhagen area. This means that Arval now has subsidiaries in 19 European countries.

Denmark is a growing market in full service leasing. Today there are 170,000 corporate vehicles in the Scandinavian country, and Arval estimates that by 2014 more than 60% of all corporate vehicle registrations will concern cars under full service leasing contracts. The opening of the new Danish subsidiary is the first step in a programme to establish Arval in Northern Europe.

Arval is fully owned by BNP Paribas. Globally the Arval services are offered by subsidiaries in 23 countries and in 12 other countries through partnerships. In total the Arval leased fleet adds up to 676,000 vehicles (figures of June 2011).
