GE Capital subsidiary ASL Fleet Services has set itself a target of reducing its average CO2 emissions from its own new vehicle fleet to 120 grams/km by 2012. Firmenauto reports that the company has thus joined German industry association VCD’s Cleaner Car Contract scheme. This makes ASL one of twelve Europe-wide leasing companies and seven large enterprises to sign up to this project, whose objective is to see 100,000 greener cars on the roads.
