Athlon Car Lease Poland  has handed over the keys of its 1000th leased car, just two years after the start of operations in the country. Country Manager Eric van Vliet, accompanied by Commercial Manager Artur Sudenis, were pleased to turn the event into something of a ceremony when they gave the keys to Red Bull in Poland, represented by Anna Czerniecka and Marcin Sawickie. Athlon President Hans Blick was also present. Commenting on the company’s success in Poland, Eric van Vliet said: “Until recently we weren’t known on the Polish market, but many of you trusted us and dared to cooperate with us”. He went on to mention the difficult trading conditions which have prevailed since the start-up in Poland: “It is hard to imagine a more difficult time to make a start in the leasing industry in Poland. That is why we are especially proud that we have reached the number of 1,000 cars so fast.”
