For the second time, Fleet Europe rewarded a company that has successfully implemented a mobility project for its fleet.
The International Mobility Award 2010 was given to Alain Duez, Global Fleet Category Manager of Accenture.
Fleet Europe also decided to reward fleet-owners with a project that stands out in the field of innovation. Alain Duez (Accenture), Steve Gellatly (KONE) and Virginie Vast (Vodafone Procurement) were the worthy recipients of prizes. Third prize in this International Innovation Award thus went to Steve Gellatly, while Alain Duez was second. But Pierre Garnier, Peugeot Professional International Director, had the pleasure of handing over the International Innovation Award to Virginie Vast (Vodafone).
Alongside these 5 Awards for International fleet managers, there was also 1 Award for fleet suppliers. The International Fleet Industry Award is an award designed to highlight innovative approaches, tools, products or services offered by international fleet suppliers. The jury decided to reward 3 industry projects. The third prize went to Alphabet for the ‘New solution of city mobility for companies’ project. Fleet Logistics received second prize, while the first International Fleet Industry Award went to Arval for their ‘Arval Analytics’ project.
During the Fleet Europe Awards the audience discovered the name of the first fleet industry pioneer to enter the Fleet Europe Hall of Fame. The Fleet Europe Hall of Fame recognizes fleet industry leaders who have significantly contributed to the international fleet management profession. For this first edition there were 19 nominees who all had at least 5 years of international fleet experience. The winner of this category was chosen by all the readers of Fleet Europe magazine and all visitors to our website
