Chinese car brands are improving the vehicle safety of their new models. That was made clear by the latest test results of Euro NCAP. Two Chinese models, the MG6 and the Geely Emgrand EC7, achieved four star ratings, that underline the car manufacturers' goal to improve the safety of Chinese cars on the Ueopean market. In a comment, Michiel van Ratingen, Euro NCAP Secretary General, confirmed that these results mark a milestone for the Chinese automotive industry. For him it is a clear sign that Chinese car makers are building on recent experiences and are rapidly investing in better vehicle safety. He also predits that with the upcoming increased demands, five stars are expected to be within reach soon.
