Business people are travelling less due to the crisis. This has resulted in rooms in luxury hotels being currently very inexpensive. During the first half of the year, rooms in four and five star hotels dropped by an average of 40%. This has been shown by Belgian organisation Horeca Vlaanderen, which adds that prices are reacting ‘relatively slowly’ to the recovery in the economy.
