Think outside the box: it's become a bit of a cliché in the jargon-riddled world of business speak. But it bears repeating, because too often we remain stuck inside the box: our success limited by our routines and assumptions.
Especially now, with the automotive world in general and the fleet industry in particular on the cusp of monumental change, thinking outside the box could totally transform – and improve – the way we do business.
And here we have one of many reasons to attend the Fleet Europe Forum, on 6 December in Estoril (Portugal). In a session on Innovation and Mobility, some of the fleet industry's leading thinkers and entrepreneurs will discuss the methods and the rewards of thinking outside the box, when it comes to implementing new forms of mobility.
Titled Success in the New Mobility Game: Daring to Think Out of the Box, this session will feature a panel discussion with a number of big hitters (pictured: a previous edition of the Fleet Europe Forum). Already confirmed to participate:
Olivier Reppert, CEO of Car2go
In October last year, Olivier Reppert, previously head of brand and product management for smart, took over the leadership of Car2go, the Daimler subsidiary that is the world's leading provider of free-floating carsharing, active in nine countries on three continents and operates a fleet of around 14,000 vehicles.
