Honda’s globally best-selling compact MPV gets bulkier bumpers and a 130 hp 1.5 petrol unit in a sporty outfit on the occasion of its midlife upgrade. The new engine can be ordered with either a six-speed manual or an automatic “the Japanese way”, i.e. a continuously variable transmission (CVT). Combined with the latter, this ultra-modern four-cylinder allegedly emits 124 grams of CO2 per km.
The revamped Jazz, which remains a marvel of clever packaging, will debut during the Frankfurt Motor show next September. The car can be ordered as from November, with deliveries starting in early 2018.
