Spain’s True Fleet continues surge

Spanish True Fleets grew by 19.5% in June, another double-digit increase and the highest growth rate of the year – so far. The Total Market hit 137,000 registrations, with all channels improving over June 2016: +3.6% for the Private Market, +4.9% for the Special Channels, but even more for the True Fleet Market, Dataforce announces.
Inside True Fleet’s Top 10, Renault retained the top spot, closely followed by VW. SEAT jumped from 9th to 3rd place, achieving the highest growth rate among all Top 25 brands (+110.7%). It was the Ibiza that really drove this surge, earning 55.2% of SEAT’s monthly volume. Following in the ranking were Peugeot, Audi, BMW, Ford and Mercedes. Nissan surged three places to 9th. Citroën rounded out the Top 10.

Interesting note: the Balearics accounted for 17.0% of all Spain’s rental registrations for June. The Top 3 vehicle segments, making up 84.2% of the short-term rental volume, were Small, Compact and SUV. Opel occupied the top spots in all three segments, with the Corsa, Astra and Mokka, respectively.
