VAB Fleet Services and Macadam join forces in MVI

VAB Fleet Services and Macadam have agreed to consolidate their inspection services in a joint entity to be called Macadam VAB Inspection. The new company, MVI for short, will be headquartered in Vilvoorde near Brussels and will conduct vehicle inspections across Belgium and Luxembourg.

By joining Macadam's expertise in innovative inspection tools with the logistic prowess of VAB, MVI will be able to respond better to customer demand in a business environment that is changing and internationalising at great speed. VAB Fleet Services has the logistical know-how to meet the growing demand for transport and for operational fleet management. 

MVI has an ambition that matches the challenges ahead: the company aims to open up new markets in Belgium, and improve its service to clients throughout Europe. Macadam's international dimension will help achieve this goal. 

Part of VAB Group since 2004, VAB Fleet Services is a market leader in vehicle remarketing and operational fleet management in Belgium. The company performs about 100,000 vehicle inspections per year. Macadam Belgium is part of Macadam Europe, which carries out 350,000 vehicle inspections per year across Europe.
