End of contract charges - avoiding surprises
|
Mycompanyfleet has initiated a new programme designed to tackle the issue of end-of-contract charges. The new solution verifies the condition of vehicles on an ongoing basis. This move follows feedback from fleet managers which indicates concern about end of lease charges and the consequential loss of control over total vehicle costs. The new programme is called ‘Vehicle Condition Profiler’ and it enables fleet operators to keep in regular contact with the leasing company concerning the condition of vehicles. Fleet managers can thus send regular reports – six or twelve-monthly for example – to the leasing company, backed up by photographic evidence of the condition of the vehicle. The system is designed to avoid end of lease financial surprises and the friction these can cause between fleet operator and leasing company. Leasing companies can also log on and check the condition of vehicles for themselves.
