Fiat is launching a new version of its eco:Drive software dedicated to CNG-petrol dual fuel vehicles. This software, developed in conjunction with Eni, enables users of Fiat Natural Power vehicles equipped with Blue&Me to measure the environmental and economic benefits of running on CNG. The application analyses journey data when running on this type of fuel: mileage, quantity of CNG used, journey cost. These data are then compared to an identical journey using petrol only. The new version of eco:Drive now means that a broad range of applications is available on models including the 500, Grande Punto and Punto Evo, Bravo, Croma, Qubo, as well as a selection of commercial vehicles. There is also a version specifically dedicated to fleets, called eco:Drive Fleet, designed to manage fleet cars more effectively.
