Building upon its position as the lowest overall CO2 emitting brand (and group) and with a desire to help customers improve their fuel consumption efficiency and driving awareness, Fiat has created its eco:Drive programme. Using the on-board Blue&Me™ system, eco:Drive analyses driving style, and helps reduce fuel consumption through advice given. This is said to lead to a reduction in CO2 emissions and costs of up to 15%. Where fleets are concerned, Fiat has also released eco:Drive Fleet. This system collects all of the data from each individual Fiat vehicle in the fleet, and gives the fleet manager the opportunity to review and analyse these data, and both identify trends and forecasts, and take steps to increase fuel efficiency and environmental friendliness.
