Fleet Europe Hall of Fame in 2010: Tony Elliott (ARI) is the first inductee

During the Fleet Europe Awards 2010 the audience discovered the name of the first fleet industry pioneer to receive the honour of entering Fleet Europe Hall of Fame. The Fleet Europe Hall of Fame recognizes fleet industry leaders who have significantly contributed to the international fleet management profession. It was Tony Elliott, Director European Sales & Consultation, ARI Strategic Services Group, who became first fleet personality honoured with entering the Fleet Europe Hall of Fame.
Tony Elliott has a long career in international fleet business. Amongst the achievements is the fact that he was one of the founders of LeasePlan UK in 1974. Later Tony Elliott became a member of the foundation team of LeasePlan International. Tony Elliott also spent time at Arval where he grew the International Business Office Team by 37%. Between 1990 and 1999, he turned Masterdrive from a loss-making company into a profitable, quality player within the market.
