On 18th November 2010, Fleet Europe organised the third edition of its Fleet Europe Village. With 18 suppliers from within the fleet industry, this event clearly succeeded in giving the participants of the Fleet Europe Forum a unique occasion to network, have business meetings, and attend several side conferences.

Alongside the Fleet Europe Forum in Brussels, The Fleet Europe Village once again this year enabled professionals and suppliers from the international fleet market to meet and exchange experiences. Suppliers from the fields of satellite navigation, vehicle manufacturers, leasing companies, software companies and remarketing specialists, all were able to present their latest products to a category of visitors which cannot be found anywhere else: international company fleet professionals. And once again, the Village was extremely well appreciated by those present.

Claire Wilcox, Brand Manager at Leaseplan International, was very positive: “This is a good opportunity to meet colleagues in the industry and to network. It’s very relaxed and is an excellent way of showcasing your company. There is a good mixture in the Fleet Europe Village between suppliers and fleet managers”.

Jean Thomas, CEO of MacAdam, also reacted very enthusiastically: “Of all the events we attend with a stand, this was the best ever! We made superb and high quality contacts and there was lots of interest both in our presence and our product offering”.

The Village was not the only attraction during the morning of the Forum, however. Side conferences were given by professionals from many fields, and were extremely well received by the audience of around 450 company fleet heads and managers. On the manufacturer’s side, Fiat, Citroën, Hyundai, Mercedes-Benz, SEAT, Skoda and Volkswagen talked of their new products, their ambitions and gave explanations regarding their fleet solutions, while Mercedes-Benz focused on the safety philosophy of the brand. Peugeot gave an insight into their LCV policies. Macadam and Navteq also spoke of their own specialities, with LeasePlan completing the picture.
