Athlon introduces mobility assistant Milo

The new Milo assistant

In the Netherlands and Belgium, Athlon has launched Milo, a mobility app that enhances the Athlon Mobility Card. Milo not only pays for business mobility, it is also a full-fledged mobility assistant, helping to plan business trips and even offering advice, using the employee’s personal agenda and the current traffic situation to formulate daily traffic advice.

The app also has a function that allows mobile paying for parking fees, and ordering and paying for an Uber ride. Milo also manages users’ balance for different mobility modes such as public transport, taxis, fuel and parking. Users can see how much of their mobility budget remains, and how they can use it to get to their destination.

Niels van den Hoogen, Commercial Director at Athlon, says Milo is aimed at the increasing number of companies that offer flexible mobility or a mobility budget to their employees. By optimising the use of various modes of mobility, Milo not only caters for that trend, it actively encourages it.
