Point S: after Malaysia, India

The Lyon-based car service network only recently stated it would set foot on the Malaysian market. A few days ago Point S had yet another announcement to make regarding its international strategy: it has its mind set on India. As from 2017, 25 service centres will welcome the first Indian customers.

Point S has teamed up with three local companies in a ‘master franchise’ agreement to cover five states: Delhi, Punjab, Maharashtra, Goa and Kerala.

“Even though the number of vehicles on the road is amongst the lowest in the world, i.e. 20 per 1000 inhabitants, the Indian vehicle servicing market has tremendous growth opportunities”, the company’s press release states.

Today, Point S is represented in 32 countries. In 2015 the company’s international sales represented €2.8 billion.
