German car sales increase boosts production in Poland
|
 The increase in car sales in Germany has the effect of boosting production at factories that produce small cars in Poland, according to the Polish car makers' association. Fiat Auto Poland has seen its exports to Germany quadruple to 26,000 units since the beginning of the year. Volkswagen factories in Poznan have their production orders full for the next three to four months. A Toyota component factory in south-western Poland has also significantly stepped up production of Aygo and Yaris engines and gear boxes.
