In the Fleet Sustainable Awards category, Fleet Europe has decided to reward for the first time a company that has successfully implemented a mobility project for its fleet.

This Fleet Europe Mobility Award was given to Giovanni Tortorici of Barilla. Jury member Prosper Burnett from HP quoted from the jury’s report: “Barilla’s management of the fleet is integrated into a broader scope of mobility. The company has implemented the use of alternatives such as bikes or public transportation and uses modern technology to reduce the needs for travelling by car or by plane; it continues to explore new and creative solutions.”

Giovanni Tortorici received his prize from Pedro Martinez Diaz, Head of Volkswagen European Fleet Sales.
