Good year for Fleet Logistics
|
Fleet management company Fleet Logistics has released some figures for 2011. These show that the company increased its fleet under management across Europe by 19,000 vehicles, enabling the total to top the 100,000 mark. Commenting on the current state of the market and the way in which his company has been able to take advantage of this, CEO Peter Soliman said that the growing trend for decentralised management across international fleets increased the need for a pan-European fleet management supplier. The overriding need for companies to cut costs is another factor, and Soliman does not expect the economic and financial context in Europe to change in 2012. Of 2011 he said: “In what was a good, albeit challenging year, this was healthy, organic growth with existing fleet customers entering new countries, as well as completely new customers coming on board”.
