Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions is recommending its suppliers to use the Model on-line delivery system. This system has been developed by on-line solutions provider Ebbon-Dacs and accessories supplier VGroup International. Model adds automation to the new vehicle delivery process. In the middle of this year Hitachi will be issuing its new vehicle supply requirements, and the latest specification will include a requirement for electronic delivery and collection. The company believes that this will benefit its vehicle supply partners. It also believes that the electronic system will reduce administrative work for dealers. Hitachi tested Model with one of its partners before deciding to endorse this system above others.
