Lift manufacturer Schindler has signed an agreement with Renault in favour of zero emissions mobility. Schindler has already been supplied with some 16,000 Renault vehicles (mostly for technicians) since the companies started working together in 2002, and has now used this new protocol to express its interest in future Renault electric models. Jürgen Tinggren, Director of Schindler, explained: “With a fleet as large as ours, we believe we have room to make significant improvements in terms of CO2 emissions, and we are looking forward to working with Renault on this large scale project. For his part, Renault Operations Director Patrick Pélata added: “We are delighted to have Schindler as a partner in our electric vehicles programme. This proves that sustainability interests companies outside of just the automobile world”.
