Jean-Michel Cavret has been named as director of the electro-mobility strategy at BMW France, reports autoactu. One of his priorities will be to roll out the testing phase of the 100% electric MINI-E during the second half of 2010. This testing will be carried out in Paris in order to ascertain the expectations of French clients where electric cars are concerned. Jean-Michel Cavret (59) first joined BMW France in 1973, left for spells at Publicis and Renault, and rejoined BMW in 1989, where he has been in charge of motorbike activities up to this new appointment.
