Interview with Gianluca Soma, CEO of ALD Automotive Group

This year, we welcomed Lorenzo Sistino (Fiat) and Gianluca Soma (ALD Automotive) at the Fleet Europe Forum. They were willing to share their views on the lessons learned from the financial and economical crisis and they focussed on the the outcome of this crisis and how to move forward from here.

Gianluca Soma is chief executive officer of ALD Automotive Group. In 1999, he was appointed CEO of Dial Italy and joined Hertz Lease Italy as CEO in 2000. Following the purchase of Hertz Lease by ALD in 2002, Gianluca contributed to the brand's development. At ALD Automotive, he served as Group Regional Director and later Group Deputy CEO.
