A collaboration agreement signed between Enel and Daimler in 2008 for the ‘e-mobility ’ project, comes into operation in September of this year. Within the ramework of the project, around 100 electric smart cars from the Daimler range will be used on the roads of Rome, Milan and Pisa . Some 2,000 persons applied to Enel’s campaign to take part in the trial, underlining the popularity of such projects. In a second programme, A2A is undertaking an electric mobiliyu project with the Renault-Nissan alliance, under the name of ‘e-moving. This will see testing of equipment in Milan and Brescia.
