LeasePlan profits up
LeasePlan Corporation has announced net profits up by almost 50% in the first half of 2010, to 90 million Euros. The number of vehicles under management stands at 1.3 million. Compared to the end of the first half of 2009, total assets are also up, at 17.8 billion Euros. LeasePlan is the world’s leading leasing company, and now employs just over 6,000 persons. Commenting on the results, with which he is obviously pleased, CEO Vahid Daemi referred to the improving used vehicle market, which had suffered during the worst of the crisis and affected contract termination conditions.
