New 107 on the road

Peugeot has launched the new version of its ultra-compact 107. It is designed to be attractive and to fit in with the Peugeot styling code. The front end has been totally restyled, but the model has the same dimensions as its predecessor. The new model will be available in a number of special editions and is to be marketed in 16 new countries, bringing the total to 48. Peugeot positions the car as a second or third car in the household, with a significant feminine and single person clientele. Some 665,000 units of the original model were produced in up to the end of 2011.
