Harald Wester has been appointed to the position of CEO of Alfa Romeo Automobiles. He also maintains his position as Chief Technical Officer for Fiat Group Automobiles and Chief Executive Officer of Maserati and Abarth. Fiat Group Chief Executive, Sergio Marchionne said that the purpose of bringing the three brands under one leadership was to strengthen their shared values in terms of sporting characteristics and performance. Harald Wester previously held several positions within the Volkswagen group, before joining Fiat around ten years ago.
