Ford Europe has announced that following the sale of its Volvo division to Chinese company Geely, which comes into effect at the end of this quarter, Volvo’s current president Stephen Odell, will become CEO of Ford Europe. He will replace John Fleming in the post, who retains other functions on the Ford board. Odell (55) has spent his entire career at Ford, occupying several posts, since first joining in 1980.
