Osborne selects GreenRoad

Family-owned construction, civil engineering and property services company Osborne has selected GreenRoad for its fleet of 169 small vans. The objective of this move is to improve safety for vehicles and their drivers. GreenRoad provides drivers with instant feedback on the dashboard, with regard to unsafe manoeuvres. According to Osborne Group Supply Chain manager Paul McCulloch, GreenRoad was chosen because of its capacity to change driver behaviour and sustain the change. “GreenRoad is like having a driving instructor continuously reminding drivers about safety”, he commented. It is also expected that the resulting better driver behaviour will lead to reduced fuel costs, and reduced insurance premiums as those sections of the fleet which were ‘higher risk’ return to normal.
