Renailt-Nissan appoints Jim Press
|
The Renault-Nissan alliance has appointed Jim Press to the position of consultant for the global sales and marketing activities of the group, reports Automotive News. Press (63) formerly worked at both Toyota and Chrysler, most recently as vice-chairman and president at the latter. In 2007, Press had the distinction of becoming the first non-Japanese member of the Toyota board. He is expected to help Renault-Nissan in product planning along with his sales and marketing responsibilities.
