International fleet and leasing solutions supplier Sofico has identified a growing need for mobile solutions in the rapidly changing fleet world. It says that fleet managers and drivers increasingly need to access information about their fleets and vehicles via smartphones, mobile internet and other applications. Sofico also believes that within this mobile world, the way in which fleet management companies react to client expectations will be a criterion which sets some apart from others.

To be able to access the information they need, fleets will therefore need to have the latest in sophisticated software systems. Sofico believes that in a fleet world which is also seeing increasing consolidation, inherited (older) software systems may prove to be a drawback, and that companies will need to move forwards if they are to keep up.
