Spanish post to use electric scooters
|
 Correos, the Spanish post office, has decided to purchase 20 electric CargoScooters, produced by Italian company Oxygen. These silent scooters produce no emissions. This initiative by Correos forms part of the Cantabrian programme ‘Bio Bike’ designed to promote sustainable mobility. These scooters are already in use in Switzerland, Belgium, Norway, Denmark, Finland, the UK, Italy, France and Austria. They have a range of 120 km on one recharge and can carry up to 90 kg.
