On 19th November 2009, Fleet Europe organised the second edition of its Fleet Europe Village. With 17 suppliers from within the fleet industry, this event clearly succeeded in giving the participants of the Fleet Europe Forum a unique occasion to network, have business meetings, and take part to several side conferences.

Alongside the Fleet Europe Forum in Amsterdam, The Fleet Europe Village once again this year enabled professionals and suppliers from the international fleet market to meet and exchange experiences. Suppliers from the fields of satellite navigation, vehicle manufacturers, leasing companies, software companies and remarketing specialists, all were able to present their latest products to a category of visitors which cannot be found anywhere else: international company fleet professionals.  And once again, the Village was extremely well appreciated by those present. Bertrand Donck, Executive Officer of end of contract company (and exhibitor) Macadam Europe explained: “We are B2B specialists, and this show gives us the opportunity to meet all stakeholders in the fleet business. And not only do we meet our customers, but our customers’ customers as well”. The Village was not the only attraction during the morning of the Forum, however. Presentations were given by professionals from many fields, and were extremely well received by the audience of around 375 company fleet heads and managers. On the manufacturer’s side, Peugeot, Mercedes-Benz, Fiat and Volkswagen talked of environmentally friendly mobility, while Seat and Hyundai also explained their fleet solutions. Macadam, Navteq and Fleet Synergy also spoke of their own specialities, with LeasePlan, Autorola and Sofico completing the picture. Asked about the quality and usefulness of presentations, Jost Dislich of EON said: “The discussion format was useful, an interesting concept. I find the whole Forum to be a good and useful experience”.
