The International Fleet Mobility Award 2011 goes to 3M Europe
|
 On October 27th, a record attendance of 550 international fleet business professionals gathered together for the ceremony of the Fleet Europe Awards 2011 in Madrid.
For the third time, Fleet Europe rewarded a company that has successfully implemented a mobility project for its fleet. It rewards a project that focuses on enhancing mobility within the company while offering original mobility alternatives and optimisation of the use of the car.
The International Mobility Award 2011 was given to 3M Europe, Holger Wiegand, Sourcing Operations Manager. He received the International Fleet Mobility Award 2011 from Martin Jahn, Managing Director of Volkswagen Group Fleet International.
Founded in 1902 as a mining company, 3M has now developed into a diversified technology company with worldwide operations. The European division of the company, 3M Europe, has its headquarters in Brussels (Belgium). 3M Europe has developed a mobility vision where several local best practices are taken into account. The company also invest in the possible integration of new technology vehicles for its fleet.
