The Netherlands: no more trip logs for delivery vans / FLEET EUROPE / Markets / Netherlands

From next year, trip logs will not be maintained in The Netherlands for delivery vans that are used solely for business purposes. This is as per the Tax Plan 2012, according to the Dutch magazine Fleetmotive.

The new ‘Vans solely for business use’ declaration shall be available from 1st January 2012. If the employer and the contractor use the same, no trip logs need be maintained. The burden of proof shall lie with the tax authorities.
