The leasing company brought many of its clients together close to Paris to discover more of the possibilties on offer in terms of eco-motoring

ALD Automotive France held its third ALD Bluefleet day on Thursday, at the Satory race circuit 30 km south-west of Paris. Bringing together over 700 of the leasing company’s clients and partners, the event also included numerous car manufacturers, car sharing and rental specialists, and eco-driving specialists. On display were many of the latest vehicles from these manufacturers, and in particular those vehicles (from scooters to urban delivery vans) which have a claim to being particularly ecologically-friendly or even emissions-free. The participants were able to test drive many vehicles on the Satory circuit, and find out more about eco-driving and the savings it can bring in terms of CO2 and fuel cost reductions. ALD pointed out that its own involvement in eco-driving extended to all types of powertrain, and that it has technical partnerships with manufacturers and others in 36 other countries outside of France.

The event was also the opportunity for ALD to announce an extension to its services in this eco-driving domain, (ALD Bluefleet, created in 2008) with a programme called ALD Drive. And the company revealed a number of key figures to the journalists present, including the fact that it has been outperforming the market in France, where it now has over 272,000 vehicles under management. ALD International's Deputy CEO Pascal Serres and his team were clearly delighted with the success of  the day, which was clearly also helped by the fact that it took place under the late summer sun which finally arrived in Europe a few days ago!
