Findel plc, a group specialising in home shopping in the UK, has cut the average emissions from its fleet of cars and vans by almost 25%. This follows advice received from fleet management company TR Fleet. The Findel fleet is now primarily made up of BMW 320 EfficientDynamics models, along with Vauxhall Insignia EcoFLEX. Both of these are therefore from the manufacturers’ ‘green’ ranges. The vans are largely Mercedes Sprinters and Ford Transits, all Euro-5 compliant. TR Fleet has helped Findel cut average emissions, from 164 to 125 grams in terms of the cars, and 228 to 190 grams for the vans. Following recommendations from TR Fleet, these (all diesel) models have been introduced by Findel.
