Training for electric car maintenance
|
Non-profit-making association Educam has announced that it is to offer training in the maintenance of electric vehicles. Some one hundred training staff will be charged with passing on their knowledge to all players within the sector, in order to ensure safety both of the vehicles and their users, and of the maintenance personnel themselves. Around 500,000 breakdown operators, technicians and garage owners are involved, according to Le Soir. Training courses are set to start at the end of this month. It is then intended to extend its scope to cover secondary education establishments and the public at large. Though right at the beginning of their careers now, electric cars are forecast to hold 10% of the market by 2020.
