Volkswagen is adding ‘Quicar Plus’ to its car sharing project Quicar which gets underway this month in Hanover. This extra service provides a wider range of vehicles and longer rental times. Members of the public can now pre-register for this scheme, which features some 200 Golf BlueMotion models for short term rental. The new up! model is also included, available from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm for a cost of € 30. As well as booking by phone or internet, users have the option of a delivery service. At launch around 50 Quicar points are to be deployed, this number doubling in the medium term.
