New CEO for Renault Benelux

Renault Group is appointing a new CEO for its operations in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. On 1 October, Belgian Jean-Paul Renaux (64, pictured left) starts his retirement. He will be replaced by Jérôme Pannaud (pictured right). The 55-year-old Frenchman has been CCO for Renault Russia since 2015.

Mr Pannaud joined Renault in 1989, after graduating from the prestigious Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Paris. He started out in various commercial departments in the OEM’s French and Dutch operations. In 2003, he was appointed Marketing Director at Renault BeLux.

In 2006, he returned to Renault’s Paris HQ for a stint as Commercial Director of the Utility Vans division. In 2010, Mr Pannaud became Marketing Director in Renault’s European commercial management, followed in 2013 by an appointment to Sales Director and, in 2015, his current post in Russia.

From 2013, Mr Renaux has headed Renault’s institutionally separate operations in Belgium-Luxembourg and the Netherlands, under the newly-founded Cluster Group Renault Benelux. Previously, he was CEO at Renault Netherlands. Mr Pannaud will continue the OEM’s Benelux-wide approach.
