HERE Parking will make it easier to find a parking space

Company car drivers will be able to access on-street and off-street parking availability, dynamic parking charges and maps of indoor car parks thanks to a new partnership between HERE Technologies and INRIX.

The new connected vehicle service, called HERE Parking, will make it easier and faster for drivers to find an on-street parking space in more than 1,100 cities in 65 countries, and an off-street parking space in more than 20,000 cities in 150 countries. The service also creates the possibility of offering integrated parking and charging recommendations, and providing reservations and transactions.

HERE Parking is primarily targeted at vehicle manufacturers wanting to offer customers offers access to parking and mobility service providers.

INRIX, the connected car service specialist will provide HERE with static and dynamic parking data.

Faster, smarter, global solution

HERE, a specialist in location data, will use its technology to navigate a driver to an available parking bay and then guide the driver back to their car via a convenient find-my-car feature. The service will also include the option to direct drivers of electric vehicles to parking bays with charging capabilities.

In-car commerce
