Cosmote and Fleet Connect in partnership

There has been another move in the connected fleet management domain in France. Cosmote has entered into an agreement with connected vehicle supplier Fleet Connect, to supply Cosmote Fleet Tracker, a fleet management technology operating via the Internet of Things.

The new platform is said to be suitable for fleets of all sizes, in all industries and of all types of vehicles. It is claimed to allow fleet managers to monitor the position of their vehicles in real time, along with the journey time and fuel consumption levels. They can also survey engine and mechanical parts functioning and the level of battery charge. Driver behaviour is also able to be surveyed, with a consequential increase in safety and decrease in operating costs. The service also operates when company car drivers are in European Union countries.
