New warranty specialist IWS offers Europe-wide solutions

CarGarantie and Car Care Plan have joined forces to form International Warranty Solutions (IWS). The joint venture is a response to the ever-greater need in the automotive market for Europe-wide, and even global warranty solutions. 

As European standards for warranty and service programmes become increasingly homogenised, the benefits in efficiency for both vehicle manufacturers and importers are mirrored by an increasing need for partners who can offer warranty solutions that transcend the national level. 

International scale 
It is precisely to offer such Europe-wide solutions that IWS was founded. Headquartered in Cologne, IWS is a sum that is greater than its already very reputable parts: CG CarGarantie Versicherungs-AG, and Car Care Plan – two leading specialist insurance providers. By pooling their experience and capitalising on their long-standing relationship, IWS will combine international scale with local, even niche know-how. 

Consequently, IWS will act as a single point of contact, offering Europe-wide (and even global) programmes tailored to specific needs (of customers) and unique demands (of individual markets). 

Decision makers
The main customers of IWS are regional and global decision makers at OEMs, their subsidiaries and importers, as well as other automotive and mobility providers. 

The company's main providers of information are international deciders on new and used vehicles, aftersales, remarketing, finance and insurance topics. All are helping to increase customer loyalty for LCVs, cars, motorbikes and e-bikes.

IWS currently make their knowledge and experience available to 48 manufacturers and 24,000 dealerships in 27 countries (all major European markets, plus Brazil, Russia, China, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand), with the same levels of quality applied in every country. In markets not directly covered, IWS ensures coverage via Car Care Plan's parent company Amtrust. 

Range of services
As for the range of services, IWS offers warranty and service programmes, including innovative and digital product development, marketing consultancy, sales support and claims handling. IWS customers are promised significant gains in turnover as well as customer loyalty and satisfaction thanks to the company's industry-leading technology, multilingual team and field-proven warranty products.
