TomTom announces second generation event reporting tool

Location technology company TomTom has unveiled the second generation of its tool that can be used to report road closures, road works and events.

The TomTom Road Event Reporter is an online application that allows authorities and trusted TomTom partners to inform drivers so they can avoid delays and frustration. It can be used to announce road works, races, festivals, street markets and other events that might disrupt traffic.

The TomTom Road Event Reporter is map-based and it is available in 81 countries where TomTom provides real-time traffic information.
