Hitachi Capital offers new mileage tracking service
UK fleet customers of international leasing company, Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions (HCVS), will be offered a new range of mileage capture and audit services, following a new partnership between HCVS and TMC.
Fleet managers and finance departments will be able to record the business and private miles driven by their employees via TMC’s Mileage Track app. The app will be available to company car and van drivers, as well as employees using their own cars for business journeys. The app links to a vehicle’s Bluetooth to log business trips, simplifying mileage reimbursement and helping fleet managers to identify which vehicles could switch to electric power without any range compromise.
Andy Fuller, head of corporate sales at HCVS, said: “We are committed to providing data led solutions to help customers optimise their fleets. This partnership supports our unique offering to make electrification a reality for our customers; as journey data is key not only for expenses and time administration and management, but also understanding viability for electrification.”
The new mileage monitoring service is optional for HCVS clients and only available to customers in the UK.
